Bishop Biography

BISHOP™ is a power trio in the classic sense. Comprised of brothers: Tom Semeraro (Guitars, Lead Vocals) Rocco Semeraro (Drums, Vocals), and Vinny Padula (Bass, Vocals), their sound is often described as alternative metal and hard rock.  The band has been doing what they do best for most of their lives together: creating tight, meaningful music that inspires. As natives of upstate New York, Bishop has toured many parts of the U.S. since their inception in 1998 and have entertained many with their creative, soulful twist on rock music.

Bishop's latest 12-track affair, “Hate Wide Open”, was recorded, mixed, and produced entirely by the band themselves. Hate Wide Open delves into issues of struggle that society collectively faces on a regular basis. Lead Guitar/Vocalist Tom Semeraro, while discussing the themes present on the album states: “We are now witness to the "Hate, Wide, Open" that exists in our world today. We have the power to reverse this trend and move back toward a time of creativity, enlightenment, and human progress. Join together, voice and hand and make a difference.” The band stands by the following statement on the making of this album: “No fake drums or instruments were used in the making of this album.” Hate Wide Open aims to bring the listener back to a place where the music matters, and heavy isn’t just fashion, it is a true reflection of us all.
